Hindi Fortnight celebrated by State Bank of India (SBI) at Bongaigaon

DHUBRI: In order to publicize and promote Hindi as an official language of the nation, State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Business Office, Bongaigaon celebrated the Hindi Fortnight which concluded recently.

The celebration included many literary competitions like Hindi essay, Hindi poem and on-spot Hindi calligraphy to showcase the importance of the day and raise awareness about Hindi language among all the employees and their family members of SBI, working at different branches and offices of Bongaigaon region.

The guests on the concluding ceremony were retired Principal, Hindi Higher Secondary School, Bongaigaon, Dr BL Sharma, Principal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, New Bongaigaon, Dr Jay Kumar Jha, Sudhangshu Pandey, Hindi Officer, IOCL Bongaigaon Refinery, Sarita Bharati Goswami.

Prizes were distributed among the winners at the concluding ceremony which was held at the conference hall of the Regional SBI RBO at Bongaigaon.
