Donkamukam: Member of Parliament (MP) of No. 3 Diphu (ST) Parliamentary Constituency, Horensing Bey on Thursday laid the foundation post for the silver jubilee celebration of the Wangala Festival which will be held from February 23 to February 25 at Satgaon, West Karbi Anglong. Horensing Bey, while talking to media persons, asked for the cooperation from all communities so that the programme could be successful. Every year, the Garo community of Karbi Anglong celebrates the festival from November 5 to November 7 but last year the fest was postponed due to the global pandemic.
