BARPETA: The District & Session Judge Court of Barpeta in a verdict on Saturday gave life imprisonment to six persons for a murder case. This verdict was given after one year and five months of the incident in the court of Narayan Kuri, Additional District and Session Judge, Barpeta. The accused are- Inzamamul Khan, Saiful Islam, Darog Ali, Lal Mahmud, Badshah Fakir and Faridul Islam. On April 16, 2022, Rubul Haque of Bandali Reserve under Tarabari Police station in Barpeta district was killed by these accused. They killed him because he came to meet his beloved. The case was continuing in the fast track court of Additional District Session Judge’s court. The OC of Tarabari police station Rajiv Neog submitted charge sheet at the court within 90 days.
