A CORRESPONDENT
JAMUGURIHAT: Bipul Saikia (50), a resident of Naghariya Chuk, Sootea, died due to lightning strike on Wednesday morning at around 7.30am. According to information, he was hit by lightning while he was uprooting seedlings in his paddy field. A team of Sootea police and magistrate reached the site and sent the body for postmortem.
