GOLAGHAT: A brutal murder took place at Jamuguri in Golaghat district under Jamuguri PS on Tuesday night.
A man named Madhab Das was hacked to death with a sharp weapon by a youth named Ratan Das. The incident occurred when Madhab Das was returning home after shopping. He was attacked from behind and died on the way to the hospital. The police arrested Ratan Das in connection with the murder.
