Pathsala: Bhabanipur MLA Phanidhar Talukdar has refuted recent rumours regarding his health, clarifying that he is in good condition and condemning what he termed as “fake news” circulated by certain media outlets.

Speaking at a mobile phone distribution event for Anganwadi workers in Pathsala, Talukdar said he had briefly experienced stomach cramps and an urge to use the restroom, but emphasized that it was a minor issue and he is now perfectly fine.

“I am completely fine. Some media houses spread fake news claiming I was seriously ill. I strongly condemn such misleading reporting,” Talukdar said during his address.
