KOKRAJHAR: In a significant effort to improve healthcare access for children in the region, Bijni MLA Ajoy Kumar Ray inaugurated a Multispecialty Medical Camp at Bijni Sub-Divisional Civil Hospital (SDCH) under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK) programme on Thursday.
The camp brought together a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including paediatricians, gynaecologists, ENT specialists, eye specialists, a dental surgeon, audiometric assistants, and staff nurses. Together, they conducted a series of comprehensive health screenings for children, focusing on early identification and intervention of health concerns to ensure timely and effective treatment.
Key officials, including the Joint Director of Health Services, Chirang, the Deputy Superintendent of Bijni SDCH, the District Media Expert, the District Coordinator of RBSK, and the Block Coordinator, were also present to offer their full support for the initiative. This collaborative effort aims to provide much-needed healthcare services to children while reinforcing the importance of preventive care and early detection of health issues.
