Nijut Moina 2.0 scheme rolled out across 10 institutions in Sonitpur

In tandem with the state-level launch, the Sonitpur district administration officially rolled out the Nijut Moina 2.0 application distribution drive in ten educational institutions

TEZPUR: In tandem with the state-level launch, the Sonitpur district administration officially rolled out the Nijut Moina 2.0 application distribution drive in ten educational institutions across the district, including one central university and nine colleges on Thursday.

At Lokanayak Omeo Kumar Das College in Dhekiajuli, the programme was graced by local MLA and Minister for Health, Family Welfare and Irrigation, Ashok Singhal. In Jamugurihat’s Tyagbir Hem Baruah College, Naduar MLA Padma Hazarika attended the event. At Darrang College, Tezpur MLA Prithiraj Rava took part in the ceremony, while Rangapara College hosted Rangapara MLA Krishna Kamal Tanti. Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi College in Tezpur welcomed Barchala MLA Ganesh Kumar Limbu, and Tezpur College saw the presence of Pallab Lochan Das, Chairman of the Assam State Transport Corporation. At Tezpur Central University, Manisha Upadhyay, Chairperson of the Sonitpur Zilla Parishad, was present. The Government Model Degree College in Balipara hosted Bishwadev Bhattacharya, Chairman of the Tezpur Development Authority.

At Sootia College, Dipshikha Handiqui, Chairperson of the Sootia Municipal Board, attended as the chief guest, while at the Government Model Degree College in Dumduma-Barchala, Hemanta Deka, President of the Dhekiajuli Anchalik Panchayat, graced the event.

Senior district officials were also present at their respective venues to oversee the smooth execution of the programme. At Tezpur Central University, Sonitpur District Commissioner Ananda Kumar Das attended the event. Additional District Commissioner Kabita Kakoti Konwar was present at Darrang College, and Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Naduar Manas Kumar Saikia participated in the programme at Tyagbir Hem Baruah College. Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Dhekiajuli Dyotiva Bora attended the events at both Lokanayak Omeo Kumar Das College and the Government Model Degree College, Barchala.

Additional District Commissioner Kamal Baruah took part in the programme at Tezpur College, while Assistant Commissioner Iris Orman Ahmed attended the event at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi Kanya Mahavidyalaya. Assistant Commissioner Nilutpal Chetia was present at both Rangapara College and Balipara Government Model Degree College.

In addition to these key dignitaries, various other esteemed guests, district officials, and administrative staff were also present at the events across the district to support and facilitate the implementation of the Nijut Moina 2.0 scheme.
