LAKHIMPUR: Setting up another milestone in the journey of academic progress, not only of the college and Lakhimpur district, but that of entire North Assam, North Lakhimpur College (Autonomous) has introduced Ph.D Programme in three more academic departments of the college. These departments are Education, Botany and English. Prior to it, the Departments of Assamese and Political Science of the college launched the Ph.D Programme and has successfully produced Ph.D holder scholars.
