TINSUKIA: The annual special camp of the NSS Unit of Sadiya College was organized at Borjiya Village, Chapakhowa from April 3 to April 9 with the theme ‘Youth for a better India’. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Bhupen Chutia, Principal, Sadiya College at Borjiya Gaon LP School in presence of faculty members of the college, Gaon Panchayat Members, villagers of the Borjiya Gaon and NSS Volunteers on April 3. The special camp was designed to incorporate the essence of social conscience and provide them an opportunity to work with the villagers to understand their problems and realities of life. The camp had about 16 sessions entailing societal parameters where experts and resource persons from various fields interacted with the volunteers. Apart from many in-house resource persons from the college fraternity, some notable resource persons from various fields took part in the interaction in the week-long programme.
