GOLAGHAT: In a significant intelligence-based joint operation on Thursday, troops of F/142 Bn CRPF in coordination with Civil Police Merapani conducted a targeted raid at a residence located in Merapani Forest Block, under the jurisdiction of Merapani police station, Sector ‘D,’ DAB.
During the operation, one individual, identified as Lute Gurung, was apprehended. A total of 3567 tablets of SAMPEX+, weighing approximately 2.145 kilograms, were recovered from the premises. The apprehended individual along with the seized contraband was handed over to Merapani police station for further legal action.
