Goalpara: As part of the 10 Bagless Days policy in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, a Pre-Vocational Education Programme began on Monday at the PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya, Goalpara. Shiv Prakash Sharma, principal of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya Goalpara inaugurated the event in presence of renowned artists Mrinal Das and Shweta Zutshi. The 10 Bagless Days policy in Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVs) is a programme that encourages students to participate in a variety of activities outside of the classroom to promote experiential learning and holistic development. The guidelines for the programme are dynamic and are periodically reviewed based on feedback from stakeholders and other developments. Both the artists guided the students of class 6 to 8 to enhance their skills and talents. On the other hand, the same day, a programme based upon Bharatiya bhasha utsav was organized inside the school campus where bilingual poems of Assamese, Bengali and Kannada were recited by the students under the guidance of the teachers.
