Goalpara: The final list of the candidates for the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council (RHAC) election, which is scheduled to be held on April 4, was declared after scrutiny and withdrawal on Monday in Goalpara.
The Assistant Returning Officers of the twenty different constituencies for the Goalpara district declared this on behalf of Khanindra Choudhury, District Returning Officer-cum-DC.
There are fifty-three candidates in the fray for the twenty council seats, and both BJP and Congress have fielded their candidates on party tickets. The candidates for No.1 Dhupdhara constituency are Mina Patgiri, Dipika Boro, Anandi Sarkar and Anil Rabha, and for No.2 Kothakuthi constituency, Bhairav Kachari, Rabindra Chandra Rabha and Ranjumani Boro.
For No. 3, Dhanubhanga constituency, the candidates are Parthapratim Kachary, Labanya Basumatary and Phanindra Rabha, and for No. 4, Rangjuli constituency, they are Subhasini Rabha and Manidipa Rabha.
Candidates for No. 5 Kushdhowa Darrangiri are Parama Rabha, Sarajani Basumatary and Hitesh Rabha Patgiri, and for No. 6 North Dudhnoi are Santi Basumatary and Ujjwala Brahma. The candidates for the No. 7 South Dudhnoi are Sanjib Kumar Rabha, Punam Hazowary and present RHAC chairman Tankeswar Rabha.
For the No. 8 Bandarshi constituency, the candidates are Rextar B Sangma and Divanitha Marak, and for No. 9 Majjakhili constituency, they are Iswar Chandra Ray, Prabodh Kalita, Jagesh Chandra Ray and Hirakjyoti Kalita. The candidates for the No. 10 Salpara constituency are Amar Chandra Rabha and Alaka Rabha, and for the No. 11 Habraghat constituency are Rakhi Sangma and Pratap Rabha.
The candidates for the 12 Dirmajakhili constituency are Jivan Rabha, Jiban Rabha and Sukamal Rabha.
The candidates for the 13, Pub Ajagar, are Geetika Rabha and Bhulal Bala Rabha; on the other hand, the candidates for the 14, Jinari constituency, are Sickney Carther Sangma, Deban Momin and Sunilson Momin. The candidates for the 15, Agia constituency are Suchitra Nath, Sanali Sutradhar and Sadhona Sangma, whereas the candidates for the 16, Dwarka constituency are Champa Bala Rabha, Modit Kumar Rabha and Harish Chandra Rabha. The candidates for the 17, Bardamal Kalyanpur constituency are Mithu Rabha, Bijendra Rabha and Legen Chandra Rabha, and for the 18, Dariduri constituency, are Jonali Rabha and Subindra Chandra Rabha.
The 19 Dodan constituency candidates are Shitala Rabha, Dibakar Rabha and Hemkanta Rabha.
Meanwhile, Premajuli Rabha, candidate for the 20 Joyramkuchi constituencies, has won uncontested from the Bharatiya Janata Party party ticket.
