Chakraborty had already spoken about the project with Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and received a positive response from the latter. The Chief Minister further suggested that a multi-storey building for parking of vehicles could be built in the town to resolve the matter, Dipayan said.
Earlier on the day, Dipayan took part in the human chain and streamlined the traffic at Church Road, which experiences traffic snarls every day.
