NAGAON: Four occupants coming in a speeding Hyundai Aura car from Guwahati towards Jorhat were killed in a tragic road mishap early on Tuesday morning on NH 37 road at Kanchanjuri in Kaliabor subdivision. Significantly, one occupant luckily survived in the tragic incident. He was immediately admitted to Jakhalabandha hospital in critical condition. Sources claimed that the incident took place when the speeding car bearing registration number AS 03 AE 8003 lost control and jumped into a roadside ditch (wetland) near Kanchanjuri under Bagori police patrolling outpost in the subdivision. According to sources, the deceased occupants have been identified as Luhit Das (18), Ankur Jyoti (30), Rishab Das of Jorhat and Rahul Senapati of Majuli while the injured one has been identified as Chachin Bordoloi of Jorhat.
