Guwahati: In a shocking incident, over Rs. 4 lakh was looted from a petrol pump in Assam's Darrang district. The robbery, which appears to be a premeditated heist, took place at a petrol pump station late at night on Monday in Darrang's Dalgaon.
It has been reported that two miscreants looted a huge amount of rupees four lakh and sixty-five thousand at a Bharat Petroleum station. The district police said that an investigation is underway to nab the miscreants.
It needs mention here that during this corona-induced lockdown, many robberies have been reported across Assam.
