Student drowns at Panimur Falls

HAFLONG: In a tragic incident, a student drowned at Panimur Falls on Saturday. A 30-member picnic party from Nagaon came to Panimur on Friday morning. The student went to take a bath down the falls when he drowned. After searching for hours, the boy's body was recovered by local youths and police. The deceased was later identified as Sunu Deka, aged 19 years of Dhemaji district and student of Super 30 Coaching Centre, Uriya Gaon, Nagaon, near bypass. He was preparing for engineering examination.
