DEMOW: Under the aegis of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Assam, and in association with the Sivasagar district administration, the 15-day Summer Vacation Workshop 2025 was held at the Demow Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Centre (Demow Public Hall) and Demow College Auditorium from July 7.
A workshop on Mati Akhora in association with Nityalaya Demow was held at Demow Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Centre (Demow Public Hall), and one on Yugmiya Adhunik Geet was held at Demow College Auditorium.
The closing ceremonies of the workshops were held at the centre and auditorium on July 22. In the events, the participating students of the workshop were given certificates. In the closing programme at Demow Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Centre, Mrintunjoy Bharali, Chief Executive Officer of Demow Municipal Board, Naranath Gohain, Demow Block Elementary Education Officer, Nilotpal Rajkonwar, Cultural Development Officer of Assam Tai Museum, Sivasagar, Pubali Thengali Gogoi, Principal of Demow Nityalaya, Pallab Das, along with other dignitaries, were present.
