NAZIRA: A tense situation unfolded at the Ligiri Pukhuri Hospital of Nazira around 11 AM on Friday. A man named Pachowan, who was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state after being rescued by the Railway police at Simaluguri junction, allegedly went on a rampage at the hospital. The man, who is reportedly a non-Assamese, assaulted a policeman on duty and smashed the glass of a vehicle, creating a commotion.
