DEMOW: The Government of Assam has decided to start 119 Model High Schools in tea garden areas throughout the State and on Sunday, Thowra MLA KushalDowari laid the foundation of Khongia Tea Estate Model High School in the presence of dignitaries. In the programme, DhurbaJyotiMout, president of SivasagarZillaParishad, ManuranjanGogoi, OC of Demow Police Station, and other dignitaries were present.
