Tourist spot inaugurated at Singra River, Kamrup

A tourist spot, ‘12 AFE’, at Singra River was inaugurated by the vice president of Kamrup Zila Parishad Kamburam Rabha

BOKO: A tourist spot, '12 AFE', at Singra River was inaugurated by the vice president of Kamrup Zila Parishad Kamburam Rabha along with All Rabha Students' Union (ARSU) Kamrup district's president Ajit Rabha, secretary Nomal Rabha, Finance Secretary Ankur Kakati, Boko and Hahim regional ARSU presidents Dibya Rabha, Prasanta Rabha respectively. Management committee member Prasanta Rabha said that the site was built by the local unemployed youths. More than 20 youths of the Hahim area are involved in this site. Rabha also said that they will provide all kinds of local ethnic foods and guidance to help picnic parties and tourists. Hahim area falls under Boko LAC in Kamrup District along the Assam-Meghalaya border. The area is 80 kilometres far from Guwahati city. Also it is near Lumpi area and Sunrise view point Parbati Pahar. Chief guest of the opening ceremony Kamburam Rabha said that the youths of the area have taken a positive initiative. It will generate income for those unemployed youths
