Training programme for TET aspirants held at Gargaon College, Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Keeping in view of number of TET aspirants, the Career Counselling and Guidance Cell, Gargaon College headed by the Coordinator, Dr Dilip Kumar Deka has successfully completed a five-day special training programme from October 25 to 30 at the Gargaon College premises. The programme was designed for the L.P. and U.P. TET examinees, keeping in parity with the latest syllabus for the same. The training programme was inaugurated by Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta, Principal of the college and noted columnist, where a pretty number of aspirants from Sivasagar and Charaideo districts joined. Seventeen faculty members of the colleges belonging to nine departments including the principal made deliberation as resource persons.

The faculty members who pertained the training were Dr Bidyananda Borkakoti, Dr Nitali Borgohain, Dr Ratna Das, Dr Poli Konwar of Education Department, Dr Arundhati Mahanta, Pranab Duara of Assamese Deparment, Bitupal Borgohain, Shyamalima Saikia of English Department, Dr Kabita Phukan, Harekrishna Mili of Mathematics Department, Dimbeswar Das of Botany, Dr. Dilip Kumar Deka, Manurama Phukan of Geography, Dr Rimjhim Bora of Economics, Dr Raktim Pator of History, Dr Paban Gogoi and Dr Sabyasachi Mahanta of Political Science Department.
