Two injured in leopard attack in Duponi Saraijan Gaon near Demow

DEMOW: Two persons were attacked by a leopard in Duponi Saraijan Gaon near Demow on Tuesday.

The injured persons were identified as Jugal Borgohain and Munin Borgohain, both residents of Dupani Saraijan Gaon. According to sources, Jugal Borgohain and Munin Borgohain had gone search of their lost goats. They came across the leopard which was hiding in the forest and the leopard attacked both of them. Both of them shouted for help and people came and chased the leopard away.

Both were taken to the Demow Model Hospital. Meanwhile, the Forest Department has kept a cage in the village to catch the leopard.
