According to police, in the early hours of Wednesday, at around 1:40 AM, at least 7 to 8 rounds of gunfire were reported at the Children's Home for Boys located at Sagolband Meino Leirak in the Imphal West district.
Two unidentified masked miscreants arrived at the premises and opened fire, as per the CCTV footage. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the children or staff.
