SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma has expressed appreciation for the collaboration with BAKDIL in advancing the state’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) Mission, calling it a partnership rooted in shared values and community strength.

“Happy to forge partnerships with BAKDIL for our Early Childhood Development (ECD) Mission,” said the Chief Minister, underlining the importance of collective responsibility in ensuring the wellbeing of children across the state.

“We launched the ECD Mission with a vision that goes beyond government efforts, one that embraces the strength of community and the dedication of those who have long served it. This mission is rooted in a holistic approach, ensuring every child receives the nutrition, care, and support they need to thrive.”

He acknowledged the longstanding contributions of faith-based organizations in building resilient and compassionate communities. “Faith-based organizations have always played a vital role in shaping compassionate and resilient communities. We are deeply grateful to BAKDIL for once again standing with us, supporting not just the mission, but the heart of Meghalaya itself,” he stated.

“Together, we move forward in faith, unity, and shared purpose,” the Chief Minister added, reaffirming the government’s commitment to a people-centric, inclusive model of development for Meghalaya’s future generations.
