SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Energy Corporation Limited (MeECL) has announced the extension of its One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2025 until April 30, providing consumers with an extended window to clear their outstanding electricity dues and restore their connections.

In an official statement released on its social media platform, MeECL declared, "Great news for consumers! The One Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme 2025 has been extended until April 30, 2025!"

Urging consumers to take advantage of the offer, the corporation further emphasized, "This is your chance to clear outstanding dues and restore your electricity connection."

The scheme, initially introduced to facilitate debt resolution for defaulting consumers, aims to provide financial relief and streamline power supply services across the state. With this extension, consumers now have additional time to avail themselves of the benefits and avoid potential disconnections.

MeECL has urged all eligible consumers to make use of this limited-time opportunity before the deadline lapses.
