AIZAWL: Assam Rifles organised an interaction with ex-servicemen in the run-up to Republic Day 2025 at Aizawl, Mizoram, on Jan 22, 2025. The event was conducted as a tribute to the sacrifices and unwavering dedication of the veterans who had served the nation selflessly.
The programme provided a platform for meaningful interaction, sharing experiences, and discussions on the welfare of the community. The ex-servicemen were also educated on various government initiatives and welfare schemes available for them.
During the event, souvenirs were also presented to the ex-servicemen as a gesture of respect, reflecting Assam Rifles enduring commitment to their welfare. The ex-servicemen expressed profound gratitude to Assam Rifles for undertaking such an initiative and appreciated the continuous efforts and commitments in reaching out to them, stated a press release.
