AIZAWL: Acting on specific intelligence of movement of Foreign Origin Cigarettes and Beer in general area Zote, Champhai, Assam Rifles and Customs Preventive Force, Champhai launched an Area Domination Patrol on Zote-Bulfek road on Thursday. During the operation, nine cases of foreign-origin cigarettes and 20 cases of foreign-origin beer were found dumped and hidden in the jungle. The recovered contraband has been handed over to Customs Preventive Force, Champhai, stated a press release.
