DIMAPUR: In a significant gesture of goodwill, Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Atul Bora met with Nagaland Chief Minister and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) founder Neiphiu Rio at his residence in Dimapur on Monday. Bora was accompanied by AGP working president Keshab Mahanta.
The meeting was also attended by Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak, and NDPP vice president Rusemtong Longkumer.
During the interaction, Bora praised Rio’s pivotal role in fostering peace, stability, and development in Nagaland, as well as strengthening the bond of friendship between Assam and Nagaland. Extending his best wishes to Rio and his spouse for their continued health and happiness, Bora expressed heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Chief Minister and his family, stated a press release.
