KOHIMA: Nagaland joined the rest of India in celebrating the 76th Republic Day with several important events. Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio raised the Tricolor at the Chief Minister's Residential Complex to start the state's celebrations. The flag hoisting was followed by a parade and cultural performances highlighting the state's traditions and heritage.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and the Governor of Nagaland La Ganesan also officially opened the Chief Minister's Mobile Operation Theatre (CMMOT), a noteworthy step toward improving healthcare accessibility. This cutting-edge mobile unit is intended to deliver cutting-edge surgical and medical treatments to Nagaland's rural and isolated regions, where access to healthcare facilities is frequently restricted.
The CMMOT, equipped with the latest medical technology, reflects the state government's commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and ensuring that medical services reach the most underserved regions. Both the Governor and Chief Minister stressed the importance of this initiative in improving healthcare for the people of Nagaland, especially in areas where getting timely medical care is difficult.

Let us recommit to uphold India as a Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic & to the ideals of the Preamble to the Constitution of India that stands for Justice, Liberty, Equality & Fraternity.”
