CHENNAI: The Northeast Trade and Investment Roadshow is set to begin in Chennai on February 5, 2025, to focus on the investment opportunities in Northeast India.
The event will give investors a chance to connect with State Governments from the Northeastern Region (NER), encouraging collaboration and opening up new growth and investment opportunities in different sectors. With many untapped opportunities in the area, the roadshow is expected to attract important stakeholders, policymakers, and business leaders who want to explore the economic potential of Northeast India.
This initiative is a part of a broader effort to promote sustainable development and economic expansion in the region by facilitating direct investment and strengthening industry-government partnerships.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, Minister of Health and Family Welfare of Assam Ashok Singhal had led a roadshow in Bengaluru as part of the promotional activities for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 summit. The roadshow had turned out to be a successful event.
During the event, the minister welcomed industry leaders, stakeholders, and investors, highlighting Assam’s potential in different sectors. He pointed out the state’s advantages and growth opportunities and invited everyone to be part of its development.
