GANGTOK: On Saturday, Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang chaired a high-level coordination meeting at Chintan Bhawan, which included Heads of Departments (HoDs), District Collectors, Superintendents of Police, and senior state government officials holding the rank of Joint Secretary and above.
The meeting provided an important platform for reviewing the functions, challenges, and specific needs of various departments.
Through detailed presentations and discussions, the participants gained valuable insights to address these challenges more effectively. During the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized the significance of strong communication between departments to ensure efficiency, transparency, and quick resolution of issues.
He highlighted that seamless coordination among departments is crucial for effective governance and improved public service delivery.
The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the meeting would inspire all officials to work with renewed dedication, awareness, and accountability, especially in addressing the needs of underprivileged sections of society.
He stressed that the government has already provided the necessary resources and facilities for its employees, and it is their collective responsibility to ensure that no citizen faces unnecessary hardships.
The Chief Minister concluded by thanking the Hon'ble Ministers, MLAs, Cabinet Secretary, Chief Secretary, Secretary DoP, and all the HoDs and officers of the Government of Sikkim for their active participation and valuable contributions to the meeting.
