Tripura Government Launches Recruitment Drive for 333 New Positions

The Tripura government has launched a recruitment drive for 333 new positions across various departments, including Forest Guards, Auditors, and health sector roles, to strengthen services.

AGARTALA: Tripura government has released a major recruitment program, making 333 fresh job posts available in various departments to strengthen its administrative and service skills. On February 24, the decision was made public by Cabinet Spokesperson and Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.

Among the highlights of the recruitment drive, the Forest Department will be filling 104 posts of Forest Guards on the basis of a special board test. The Finance Department's treasury division will fill 140 Auditor positions to address current staffing shortages. Minister Chowdhury emphasized the urgency of this recruitment, stating, "The number of auditors at present is very low, so we have taken this decision, and recruitment will be done soon."

In addition, the Cooperative Department will recruit 30 new positions, such as Auditors, Investigators, and Statistical Investigators. The Social Welfare Department will hire 34 ICDS Supervisors through the Service Commission.

In the health department, the Regional Geriatric Centre of AGMC & GBP Hospital will have 20 new posts, and two posts of Bio-Medical Engineer. The Tourism Department will also appoint three Group-D employees and promote two employees to Upper Division Clerk posts. In addition, the Directorate of Biotechnology will recruit one Scientific Assistant.

This recruitment drive includes a wide variety of job categories such as Group-C non-gazetted and Group-A gazetted posts, which represents a significant increase in the state's administrative cadre.
