RIYADH: Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice as Al Nassr beat Damac 4-1 here at Al-Awwal Park on Thursday night to win the Saudi Pro League title on the final day of the season.

The result ended Al Nassr’s wait for a league crown, its first since the 2018-19 season, and gave Ronaldo his first major trophy with the Saudi club. The Portuguese forward, who had been left frustrated by last week’s AFC Champions League Two final defeat to Gamba Osaka, responded with two second-half goals on a night when Al Nassr turned pressure into celebration.
