GUWAHATI: Four players of Assam representing the Indian Wushu Team in the Batumi Open International Wushu Championship 2026, held at Batumi, Georgia July 30 to August 4, won 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 2 Bronze medals. The medal winners are: AARHI GOSWAMI won two Gold medals in Taolu (Routine) Events Taijiquan and Taijijian. PRIOBROT DOLOI won two Medals in Traditional Kung-Fu Events one Gold in Traditional Short Weapon event and a Silver medal in Traditional Bare event. SANAT KUMAR DOLOI won two medals in Traditional Kung-Fu events one Gold and a Bronze in Wingchun event and in Traditional Short weapon event respectively. DEEKSHA TEWARI won three medals in Taolu (Routine) Events two Silver in Nanquan and Nandao and a Bronze medal in Nangun.
