GUWAHATI: Elite Veterans emerged victorious in the inaugural RP Barooah Memorial Masters T20 Cricket tournament, defeating NFRSA Veterans by three wickets in a thrilling final at the NFRSA Stadium on Friday. Chasing a target of 138, Elite Veterans reached the mark in 18.5 overs, losing seven wickets in the process.

Brief scores: NFRSA Veterans 138/7 (20 Overs), Abhay Rai 37 Deep Borah 28, Parag Das 15, Nayanjyoti Deka  2/19,  Dipjyoti Devnath 2-20, Imtiaz Hussain 2-40, Elite Veterans 139/7 (18.5 Overs),  Nayanjyoti Deka 38 no, Sadek Imran Choudhury 34, Abhay Rai 2-20, Zaved Zaman 2-27.
