GUWAHATI: United Chirang Duar FC registered a thumping 11-0 victory over Assam United FC in the Assam Premier League Football Championship held at Mirza on Tuesday.
Nicodin Narzary and Dinar Narzamary both netted hat-tricks in the one-sided encounter. The other goals for the winners came from Ribung Narzary (2), Timothi Narzary, Didum Hajowary, and Dansarang Basumatary.
With this commanding win, Chirang Duar FC now sit joint second on the points table with Chayagaon FC, both having collected 16 points.
In the other match of the day, Assam Police and FC Green Valley played out a goalless draw. Assam Police continue to lead the table with 17 points.
