GUWAHATI: The India Club Open Tennis Championship 2025 is set to commence at the club premises on January 20. The tournament offers a cash scholarship of Rs 1,50,000, along with trophies and certificates for participants. Additionally, players will gain valuable AATA ranking points. The competition includes various events, ranging from Under-10 boys and girls to Senior Doubles for participants above 60 years.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on January 20 at 4:00 PM. Dr. Ravi Kota, Chief Secretary of Assam, will grace the event as the Chief Guest. Dr Partha Sarathi Mahanta, Commissioner of Police, Kamrup (Metro), and Sumit Sattawan, District Commissioner, Kamrup (Metro), will be present as Guests of Honour.
