GUWAHATI: The Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy Senior Inter-District Cricket Tournament 2025 is all set to commence on April 20, with matches scheduled across multiple venues throughout Assam.
This year’s tournament will be played across six zones. In Upper Assam, matches will be held in Tinsukia and Jorhat, while Dhubri and Nalbari will serve as the venues for the Lower Assam Zone. Morigaon and Hojai will host games in the Central Assam Zone, and Goalpara has been designated as the venue for the Headquarters Zone. Meanwhile, Tezpur and Rangia will stage the Northern Assam Zone matches, and the Southern Assam Zone fixtures will be held in Silchar and Hailakandi.
The preliminary rounds will run from April 20 to May 9, featuring intense competition as teams battle for a place in the final phase. At the end of this stage, twelve top-performing teams will advance to compete for the prestigious title.
