Rajasthan Royals to Hold Six-Day Training Camp in Guwahati from February 17

Rajasthan Royals announce a training camp for select players in Guwahati starting February 17, ahead of IPL 2025, amid speculation about the city hosting two matches.

GUWAHATI: With speculation growing that Guwahati will host two Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 matches this season, Rajasthan Royals (RR) has decided to organize a six-day training camp for a select group of its players. The camp will be held at the ACA Stadium, Barsapara, starting February 17.

While the official IPL 2025 schedule is yet to be released, reports suggest that the ACA Stadium, Barsapara is likely to host two Rajasthan Royals home matches—against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK)—in the last week of March.

In preparation, Rajasthan Royals has decided to send its head coach Rahul Dravid and spin bowling coach Sairaj Bahutule to Guwahati, along with seven players who will undergo training at the stadium. The players attending the camp are: Nitish Rana, Dhurv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Ashok Sharma, Akash Madhwal and Sandeep Sharma.
