GUWAHATI: Udalguri emerged victorious in the ASMITA Hockey Women (Sub Junior) State League, securing a 1-0 win over Charaideo in the final held at Me Tayabulla Hockey Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday. The sole goal of the match came from Bhumika Devi, who found the net in the 39th minute.
In the third-place playoff, Barhampur triumphed over Guwahati with a 2-0 victory. The award ceremony was graced by Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah, MLA Rupak Sharma, former Hockey India President Gyanendra Ningbom, and other dignitaries.
