Goalpara: The polling of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council election passed off smoothly and peacefully in Goalpara district on Wednesday. At the end of the day, the overall percentage of the vote poll stood 69.08 in the 19 constituencies of the council in Goalpara district. There were 362 polling centers in the district in this election. The 18-Dariduri constituency witnessed the highest number of casting with the percentage 80.35 whereas 11-Habraghat received 62.34 percent of vote. The counting of the vote will be held on Friday.
