Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold two election rallies in Assam on April 5 and 6 — at Gogamukh and Behali — marking his second leg of campaigning in the state.
AICC star campaigner Priyanka Gandhi is set to address three rallies tomorrow — at Nazira LAC, Tingkhong LAC, and Khowang LAC.
The Khowang rally is particularly significant, as Congress ally AJP candidate Lurinjyoti Gogoi is contesting from that constituency.
Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is also likely to campaign in Assam on April 2.
Several prominent BJP campaigners were on the ground in Assam today, including Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, and Smriti Irani.
Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma addressed four rallies — at Raha LAC, Dimoria LAC, Barkhetri LAC, and Kamalpur LAC — before leading an evening roadshow in the Jalukbari LAC.
