GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has shuffled several IAS, IRS, and ACS officers, including a new district commissioner in the Sonitpur district.
The Department of Personnel issued three notifications regarding this administrative reshuffle.
Ananda Kumar Das, ACS, Secretary to the Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department & Commissioner, Food, Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, Assam (FCSCA&LM) (additional charge), has been transferred and posted as the District Commissioner of the Sonitpur district.
Hemanta Bhuyan, ACS, Joint Secretary to the Department of Housing & Urban Affairs, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Food, Civil Supply & Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, Assam (FCS&CA&LM).
Ankur Bharali, ACS, District Commissioner, Sonitpur, has been transferred and posted as Director, Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam.
Aruna Rajoria, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Agriculture Department and Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery Department, Agriculture Production Commissioner, Chairman, ARIAS, and Chairman, Assam Silk Outreach Mission (ASOM) (additional charge), and Chairman, State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA), WDC-PMKSY, has been relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary to the Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery Department.
Kumar Padmapani Bora, IRS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Tourism Department and Project Director, Assam Infrastructure Financing Authority, MD, ATDC, and CEO, MMS-CMSGUY, has been transferred and substantively posted as MD, ATDC, and Project Director, Assam Infrastructure Financing Authority; CEO, MMS-CMSGUY; and Commissioner & Secretary to the Information & Public Relations and Printing & Stationery Department as additional charges.
Kumar Padmapani Bora, IRS, has been relieved from the charge of Commissioner & Secretary to the Tourism Department.
Megha Nidhi Dahal, IAS, MD, AIDC, and Commissioner, Industries & Commerce, Assam (additional charge), has been posted as CEO, Corporate Social Responsibility Authority of Assam (CSRAA), as an additional charge.
On his service being withdrawn from the Election Department, Bedanta Bikash Bora, ACS, Election Officer Chirang, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner, Chirang.
