Assam: State Government Promotes Bureaucrats

As many as 9 additional secretaries have been promoted by the state government to the level of secretaries in the same departments, with an accompanying increase in pay and allowances.

Guwahati: As many as 9 additional secretaries have been promoted by the state government to the level of secretaries in the same departments, with an accompanying increase in pay and allowances. They will now be eligible for Pay Band-5 of Rs. 65,000-1,12,000 per month and Grade Pay of Rs. 18,500 per month and other allowances as admissible under rules.

Manisha Chelleng has been promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Chief Minister's Secretariat. Jyotsna Medhi Patgiri has been posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Medical Education & Research Department. Nivedita Laskar has been promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department. Pubali Gohain is promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department, and Inspector General of Prisons, Assam, as an additional charge.

Dharma Kanta Mili has been promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs Department and Commissioner, Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs and Legal Metrology, Assam, as an additional charge.

Tripurendra Pator has been promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Agriculture Department. Esther Kathar is promoted and posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development Department. Kimnei Changsan has been posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department.
