The State Transport Department has appealed to the drivers of the state to follow the 'Panchasutra of Road Safety' to save their and others' lives. Through 'Panchasutra of Road Safety', the department wants (i) riders and pillion riders to wear helmets, (ii) driving of vehicles within the speed limit, (iii) not mix alcohol and driving, (iv) wearing of seatbelts and (v) not using a mobile phone while driving.
