SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma on Wednesday firmly defended the state’s existing reservation framework, asserting that while the present system may appear to be in conflict with Supreme Court rulings, it also draws protection from the very same judgments and carries lesser risk of judicial invalidation due to its long-standing continuity.
