GORESWAR: The golden jubilee of Goreswar College has been scheduled from July 6, with a three-day programme here at Goreswar in Tamulpur district. The inauguration ceremony of the golden jubilee was held on Wednesday. Jagannath Sarma, senior citizen of Goreswar, inaugurated the gate of the jubilee celebration by cutting a red ribbon while Mahidhar Boro, President of the governing body of the college, hoisted the college flag. Karuna Deka, President of the golden jubilee reception committee, Pramod Medhi, Principal of Goreswar College, Mahidhar Boro, President of governing body, and senior citizens Binay Narzary and Bhubaneswar Nath took part in the lighting of the ceremonial lamp in presence of hundreds of well-wishers, lecturers, and students of the college.
