Assam: 300 Join Asom Gana Parishad in Dimoria at Kamrup (M) District

The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has organized a massive joining programme in Dimoria’s Tetelia area in the Kamrup (M) district.

GUWAHATI: The Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) has organized a massive joining programme in Dimoria’s Tetelia area in the Kamrup (M) district. Over 300 men and women, including youths, formally joined the party, demonstrating their faith in regionalism. AGP General Secretary Dr. Tapan Das welcomed the new members, stating, “From today, we are all part of one big family. We will work together, hand in hand, to strengthen the party and prepare for the upcoming panchayat elections.”

The programme was attended by prominent AGP leaders, including AGP General Secretary Dr. Tapan Das, general secretary of the Youth Council Dibyajyoti Rajkhowa, president of the Dimoria Regional Committee Bikram Boro, and vice president of the Dimoria Legislative Council Lakhyadhar Baruah.

The joining programme is part of AGP’s efforts to revitalize its organizational structure in Dimoria, with a focus on strengthening its presence at the grassroots level. The party aims to emerge stronger in the forthcoming panchayat elections.
