GUWAHATI: The 3rd and final phase of Gunotsav-2025 was completed on February 7. It continued from February 4-7, 2025, in ten districts.
The districts are Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Darrang, Dibrugarh, Dima Hasao, Goalpara, Majuli, Morigaon, and Nalbari, besides some schools of Kokrajhar and Udalguri districts that had been left in the first phase of Gunotsav 2025.
A total of 11,72,401 students from classes I to IX of 13,356 schools – government schools, provincialised schools, Adarsha Vidyalayas, Tea Garden Model Schools, Kasturba Gandh Balika Vidyalayas, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Adarsha Vidyalayas and Tea Garden Management Schools evaluated by external evaluators.
During the evaluation process, IAS, IPS, IFS, ACS, APS, AFS, and other Grade I & II officers and others took part as external evaluators. Similarly, ministers, MPs, MLAs, CEMs, and EMs also took part in various schools as external evaluators. They interacted with the students, teachers, parents/guardians, mother groups, community members, and others.
During the third phase of Gunotsav 2025, Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu visited Narsing H.S. School, M.M. Balika Vidyaniketan High School, Naba Kumar M.E. School, and Idris Ali Ansari M.E. School in the Cachar district on February 6 and interacted with students, teachers, parents/guardians, community members, and others.
Similarly, Minister of Panchayat and Rural Development Ranjeet Kumar Dass visited Boitamari H.S. School, Hindi Vidyalaya M.E. School, and No. 445 Pachduar LP School in the Bongaigaon district on February 6; Minister Jayantamalla Baruah visited Nalbari Abhyasan School and Gopalthan Polytechnical Institution School in the Nalbari district on February 7 and interacted with students, teachers, parents/guardians, community members, and others.
